Cocaine abuse accounted for more than one out of 20 clients in a drug rehab program in Nebraska.
Similar to that of cocaine, heroin is available primarily in the Omaha, Nebraska area. The majority of the heroin present in Nebraska is known to have originated in Mexico, and distributed by Hispanic drug trafficking organizations. The use of heroin has not been as popular due to the preference of crystal meth.

During 2007, there were 16 methamphetamine laboratory incidents reported in Nebraska. Methamphetamine accounted for more than 60% of Federal drug offenses within the state.

Communities and law enforcement are very concerned of the increasing popularity if club drugs. Drug trafficking organizations in Texas, Florida and Arizona are the main suppliers of club drugs in Nebraska, mainly ecstasy.
Marijuana Abuse in Nebraska
Marijuana is one of the most available illicit drugs throughout Nebraska. The majority of the marijuana in Nebraska is believed to have originated in Mexico, and recent reports indicate from sources in British Columbia, Canada. Hispanic drug trafficking organizations dominate the transportation of marijuana form Mexico. Federal agencies seized more than 3,000 kilograms of marijuana, and eradicated 1,203 marijuana plants during 2007 in Nebraska.
